The Full-Season Apprentice Journey: From Suit-Up to Honey Harvest

Step into the apiary for a structured, 6-month educational experience. Unlike a one-off tour, the Apprentice Membership is a dedicated partnership between you and our Bee Wild local hives. By committing to the full season, you ensure the continuity of your training and the health of the bees you’ll be caring for.

What to Expect:

  • Phase 1: Side-by-Side Training (Sessions 1–3): Work directly with the lead beekeeper, identify the queen, and understand colony health.

  • Phase 2: Independent Management (Sessions 4–6): Once "Hive Certified," you will be assigned to our CSA training hive to practice your skills under expert supervision.

  • The "Power Hour": Each session is 60 minutes, including 45 minutes of active, hands-on time in the hives.

Your Membership Includes:

  • Full Mentorship: 6 scheduled Saturday sessions (choose from our 12 available dates).

  • Professional Gear: Use of our bee suits and hive tools (fits ages 3+).

  • The Harvest: 6 jars (320g each) of raw, local honey to take home at the end of the season.

  • Small Group Focus: We limit attendance to ensure high-quality instruction and minimal stress on the bees.

Payment & Commitment:
To provide a stable learning environment and secure your time slot, we require full payment of $270.00 upfront. This covers your entire season of mentorship. Following payment, you will receive instructions on how to schedule your 6 sessions on our apiary calendar.

Location & Parking:
Sessions take place at our private apiary in Paradise Valley. Please park in the gravel pull-out on the right side of Paradise Valley Road, opposite the "Bee Wild" sign.
